Controller and purpose

Information and legal basis
We process your email, project or idea title, description, submitted links, license and setup information, credit preference, optional display name and profile, and the accepted terms version. Review and correspondence rely on our legitimate interest in handling voluntary contributions (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); documenting an agreed contribution may be necessary for the agreement (Article 6(1)(b)). Named public credit is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a)); you can withdraw this choice by email for future display. Required legal attribution may remain.
Delivery and security
Netlify hosts the page and submission functions. Resend delivers the submission to our inbox as a transactional email, with your email as Reply-To. No newsletter subscription or automatic confirmation email is created. There is no additional submission database or Netlify Forms copy. Your links are not automatically downloaded or executed. IP-derived request information, signed challenges and short-lived in-memory rate-limit counters protect against spam. This necessary security processing is not optional analytics.
Providers and transfers
Hosting, delivery and mailbox providers process information according to their contracts and data-processing arrangements. Resend and Netlify may process data outside the EEA; applicable safeguards and provider details are described in their privacy and data-processing documents and the main privacy policy. We do not claim that every provider copy is deleted when our inbox copy is removed. Resend states that email and log data on Free, Pro and Scale plans is retained for 30 days, and backups for seven days. Retention and your rights
We delete submissions that are not accepted six months after review and correspondence are closed. For accepted contributions, we retain necessary permission and license records while the contribution is used; legal retention duties may require longer storage. These periods cover data under our control. Provider logs, backups and delivery records follow their own documented periods. You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction, object where applicable, withdraw public-credit consent and complain to the competent data-protection authority.
